Timing is always perfect, even if you want to argue with it.  What seems like the wrong time or the right time for an event is a romantic ideal and it’s much more profound than that.  It is the correct time.  The correct timing for any “chance” meeting or event such as a death or birth is in perfect time with geometrically driven timeline from deep within the Universe.  I’m talking about that intersection of math and science with how it effects human’s and other life forms yet undiscovered by our scientific methods, from all over the galaxies, which some might call Spirituality.

Correct timing is our individual timing.  The right time for an event to happen is the right time and for an event to come back to the surface for resolution is also in our individual perfect timing.  It is all driven by factors of quantum physics and our unique timing.  If your timing is bringing back to you unresolved grief in the form of any type of pain or longing, right now, your timing is perfect.

The light and the air has changed, even if the temperatures haven’t yet where you live in the North America.  It’s time to be fully in that descent into reflection about that which we value in our lives and begin to let of that which we no longer need and has drug us down with the heaviest of chains.  We often don’t want to deal with the often messy and sometimes uncomfortable visceral (gut level) of letting go.

We want to believe that we can let go by merely saying we have.  We are so much more than our thoughts and yet many believe, that is ALL we are.  We are physical beings with cellular memory that effects our glands and our hearts and all our internal structures.  These parts have memories and many other practitioners before me, such as John Sarno, MD, John Upledger, DO and John Barnes, PT have devoted their entire careers to understanding just how deep stress from these memories of past events get stored in the body, body-mind and other aspects the connection between energy bodies and our physical bodies Stress stored in these interconnection effect our growth, ability to be successful and most of all feel good about our lives and ourselves.  I have heard so many times from clients, “But I thought I already dealt with that”.  You have, intellectually, but perhaps not in a way that fully releases the pain suffered and restores joy in it’s place.

Each season of letting go, we have the opportunity to go a l little deeper with each pattern resulting from a life event.  There are many levels and we must begin to accept and allow the spiral of decent and resolution of these levels with each season of letting go.  There is resolution but not on our ego’s timing, on a timing much more profound than we realize. Our brain’s want to announce, “I’m done with that!” but usually when we make that pronouncement, we often aren’t.  We are done when our bodies no longer react to the memories of the event and that is not determined by our brains and egos.  Spirituality is about allowing the process to continue and reach it’s natural end not forcing or rushing or pressing harder to get it done– that is ego.

Talking about our pain doesn’t usually heal it. Yes, we need to be aware of it but going over the story of the event over and over, doesn’t release it from all the levels of us which allow us the freedom to move beyond it.  Events of intense pain are meant to be transformed from grief into growth, and this is the time of year that reminds us of this.  When grief isn’t transformed into growth, it becomes stuck and this can produce any number of symptoms, not the least is which is depression and then heart disease over the decades of continued suppression of the grief.  America’s number one cause of death is still heart disease which is much, much more involved than matter of diet and exercise.

But, no matter your unique constellation of physical anomalies, there is underneath them a suppression of grief yet unresolved, and If you are inclined, you can allow yourself to open to this season of the beauty of letting go.

Transformation is the name of the game here on earth, whether you are aware of it or not.  It always has been and always will be.  My life began to transform in deep, gut wrenching ways in 2001 and recently it has  embarked on a new twist in the road of transformation to bring even deeper levels of my own pain to the surface for release, resolve and replacement with joy.  Nothing is stagnant or stays the same long here on Earth. As long as we breathe we are in a process of becoming and that becoming always begins with letting go.

Autumn is a reminder of our deep need to let go with all it’s changing colors, falling leaves, changing light, wind and rain.  We must teach ourselves to enjoy the process of letting go for it gives back triple fold in joys we never knew we could experience.  But without this sometimes uncomfortable process of release, we will never reach the heights of freedom being held down by harbored and protected pain.  Yes, that’s right, we protect our pain from release.

Our culture teaches us that we must be constantly happy (which teaches us to protect and suppress our pain)  but that is an illusion driven by consumerism.  Life is about ebb and flow, release and restore.  There is beauty in a mess because of what it gives back to us in the process (not the goal) of sorting it out.  Every mundane task in life and in the process of cleaning up a mess, can be a meditation and have a beauty all it’s own, if you can remind yourself of the exquisite beauty of life’s little things.  Where would we be without the insects and maggots?  They have beauty too!  They help us decay or break things down to make the gems of the mess useful to us.

This season is by design a reminder to us all that decay and death of ideas or ways of being or even life itself is a part of life.  For everything there is a season and it constant change is the name of the game.

We are moving into a time of longer darkness which is not bad or good but simply a time when we go to that place of stillness (Winter) to restore our energies for the birth of the new version of ourselves in the Spring.  Without letting go of the refuse which no longer serves us we cannot return the minerals and gems to the deep soil of our lives so that diamonds of our new selves can be born in the Spring.

If you suffer from S.A.D (Seasonal Effective Disorder), or just plainly don’t like the Winter and the darkness it brings, it may mean there are unresolved stressed areas stored within the matrix of your body-mind interconnections that are beyond the reach of your conscious thinking mind.

Whatever your nagging symptom, a strained relationship, a physical symptom, a bad mood, there is a root which once resolved will bring you an un-thought of and unforeseen, joy.  This is the season to unearth it as the energy of this time adds to your awareness and determination to dig it up and clear it away with non and low verbal processes that release the deeper levels of the stored pain.
